The Homes for Brighton & Hove Joint Venture at the Sackville Trading Estate involves the purchase of the site for the development from seller, which is not the council. Hyde purchased the freehold of the site from the seller for the construction of residential homes. Hyde will grant the council a lease of the social rented homes. The paper agreed by Cabinet is here: Homes for Brighton Hove - Sackville Trading Estate.pdf. No land belonging to the council was involved in relation to this scheme. We will follow up should there be any further queries about adjacent sites. |
